About Rahway Arts District
| “It’s the Place to Watch” says The New York Times and here in this quiet community a renaissance is in the works. Rahway was featured in a CBS morning news program in May 2007 saying “on the map to becoming the next Hoboken”
With a growing density of arts organizations, both non-profit and commercial, art galleries, dance studios and cultural programs, the Rahway Arts District is developing into a regional cultural hub. The Arts District here is a lively cultural community where the visual arts, theatre, performing arts, music and crafts will offer exciting events and activities in the arts and culture throughout the year. The Rahway Redevelopment Agency has endorsed several new projects that will bring added diversity and range to the arts within the District for the entertainment, education and amusement of visitors from near and far. This is Cultural Tourism at its best…Rahway is a must-see destination for the Arts!
