Art Exhibit & Jazz Concert
ANNA FELD & JEAN-MICHEL PILC at LightSoundSpace

Solo art exhibition of paintings by Polish-born artist Anna Feld. Light refreshments will be served at the reception from 6-8 PM. Immediately following at 8 PM will be a performance by renowned improvisational jazz pianist Jean-Michel Pilc on the celebrated Fazioli piano. About Anna Feld
Award-winning artist Anna Feld shows a variety of painting styles, including representational landscapes, still-life oil paintings, and abstract compositions. She has exhibited regionally at the Katonah Museum of Art in Katonah, NY, The Cork Gallery at Lincoln Center and The National Academy Museum in New York City, as well as numerous other galleries and institutions. She trained in New York City at the Art Student League and the National Academy of Design under, among others, Serge Hollerbach and Thomas Fogarty. Her work is included in many private collections. About Jean-Michel Pilc
Jean-Michel Pilc is a master of improvisational jazz. He has performed with greats in the music field such as Roy Haynes, Michael Brecker, Dave Liebman, Jean Toussaint, Rick Margitza, Martial Solal, Michel Portal, Daniel Humair, Marcus Miller, Kenny Garrett, and many others. He has also worked with Harry Belafonte as his musical director and pianist. Pilc has performed as a trio with Francois Moutin (bass) and Ari Hoenig (drums). As a group, Pilc, Moutin, and Hoenig have played live and released a number of recordings over the years. Pilc has additionally released many solo albums. Pilc is a faculty member in the music department at NYU’s Steinhardt School and at the New School in New York City. More on Jean-Michel Pilc
